[qip] — quiet internet pager — альтернативная «аська». В отличие от ICQ, обладает следующими дополнительными возможностями: просмотр IP-адреса, программы-клиента, времени входа в сеть собеседника; добавление любого пользователя в свой контакт-лист (без авторизации); дополнительные статусы (видны они только пользователям QIP); удаление своего UIN из контакт-листа другого пользователя (эта опция работает тоже только среди пользоваталей QIP); шифрование сообщений.
Кроме этого, интерфейс — на двух языках, русском и английском.
